WWE SummerSlam stands as one of the biggest events in the company's calendar, rivaled only by WrestleMania. Anticipation for this year's edition is running high, as rumors circulate about thrilling matchups, including Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso, Gunther vs. Drew McIntyre, and Asuka vs. Bianca Belair vs. Charlotte Flair. Furthermore, there's a possibility of witnessing the grand debut of a significant new talent, adding even more excitement to the event.

Alycia Baumgardner, known as "The Bomb," recently joined the latest episode of WWE's The Bump.

While Baumgardner is set to attend WWE's SummerSlam in Detroit, her primary attention is currently directed towards her upcoming boxing match against Christina Linardatou on July 15.

Since 2021, Alycia Baumgardner has proudly held the prestigious WBC and IBO female super featherweight titles, and she is determined to retain these titles in her upcoming bout. Sporting an impressive record of 14 wins and only 1 loss, Baumgardner has showcased her exceptional skills with half of her wins by KO.

In a memorable showdown held in London, England, the 29-year-old Alycia Baumgardner secured a hard-fought victory over Mikaela Mayer, claiming the IBF, WBC, and WBO 130-pound titles in a split decision on October 15 of the previous year. Her exceptional performance led her to become the undisputed female super featherweight champion of the world on February 4, 2023.

While Baumgardner seeks to avenge her past defeat against Christina Linardatou, which took place in July 2018, there's also speculation about the possibility of her joining the WWE roster, headquartered in Stamford. When asked about her interest in becoming a WWE Superstar, Baumgardner responded by playfully acknowledging her previous "diva" persona, suggesting that such a transition is not entirely out of the question.

According to the 29-year-old, while the upcoming fight against Linardatou is the most important, being a WWE Superstar is something she is willing to consider eventually:

"Of course. I was a diva growing up. I still am a diva. So, I mean we could always expand on that idea, and I'm all for doing something new and exciting," Baumgardner said.

Baumgardner's skills have significantly improved since her previous encounter with Linardatou, instilling her with unwavering confidence for the coming rematch. As the fight draws near, Baumgardner has expressed her intentions to enhance her impressive record with yet another knockout on July 15th.
